Today we release the first article of a new series covering RP Events on Argent Dawn. It is written by Morghár, today's guest reporter. He is also responsible for taking the pictures you can find throughout the article. Enjoy!
The Great Harvest was a Forsaken only RP event on the 02. September 2015 that started at 20:00 server time between Garren's Haunt and Brill in the Tirisfal Glades. It took about two and a half hours and was hosted by <The Hand of Agony>. It aimed to introduce new Forsaken characters into their new „life“.
At first everyone gathered, the hosts organized themselves IC, assigning everyone to their position and to wait. The rest hopped into one of the two opened graves and went /sleep until everything started.
Then the Val'kyr resurrected the dead, at first nothing happened, but then more and more corpses rose from their slumber. Some seemed unimpressed, a few tried to flee (those were stopped by guards leaping onto them), others were happy with their new given chance, but most of them were agitated. Everyone got attention from the hosting guild in their own suitable way, everyone was told what they had to hear in order to calm down and accept or even embrace what happened.
As soon as the newly risen felt like they wanted out of their graves, they were sent to apothecaries that checked them for injuries that needed treatment, such as missing bodyparts, broken limbs, open wounds, etc.
On a cart was equipment stored, clothing and a weapon for everyone who was in need of them.
After every single confused soul got their treatment, a Forsaken by the name of Nadii guided the group to a nearby hilltop and explained to them who they are now, what happened while they were dead and answered any open questions.
The next step was to introduce us to fighting, for those lessons Nadii guided us north, to Garren's Haunt. While we were on the hilltop <The Hand of Agony> moved there and was already awaiting our arrival. Everyone got asked what kind of warrior they were (hero class) and then got assigned to one of the guild members who specialized in that style of combat. They explained a few things and then they held PvP battles or simply showed some techniques. Those who didn't want to fight, watched some of the competent heroes duel each other.
That concluded the event, after the last tips and tricks were taught, <The Hand of Agony> gathered and ended the RP event, offering every new soul a place to go if they don't know what to do with their new life, their guild.
